Things Heating Up For Thousand Foot Krutch In 2008
Band shops single to mainstream, plans Fall tour

NEWS SOURCE: Thousand Foot Krutch, a Jesusfreakhideout.com report
February 4, 2008

TFK Thousand Foot Krutch vocalist Trevor McNevan has released an update on the happenings for the band in 2008, announcing an upcoming music video, general market promotions, and a Fall Tour. McNevan writes...

"Hey everyone, hope you all a sweet holiday season, and are as pumped about the new year as we are. '08 baby! New steps, new heights. We've had a few weeks off for the holidays, etc and recovery time from a small surgery I had (nothing serious) over the break. There's a bunch of new things we've been working on, and we're exctatic about getting back out there.

We're doing a new photo shoot on Feb.13th as well as shooting a new video for "Favorite Disease" with director Dave hill on the 14-15th. There's a lot of things happening at radio right now, so I'll try to spell it out without making it too confusing. We've got a great new General Market radio team called CO5 (My Chemical Romance/Fall Out boy) that's just started pushing "Falls Apart" to all mainstream rock and alternative stations across the U.S. It will start officially in rotation on feb 5th. We'd appreciate any and all support if you want to call up your local rock/ alternative station to request it. Things have been moving very fast so far, so we're excited to see what lies ahead. The song "The Flame In All Of Us" is going for adds now on chr. rock radio formats(Radio U,etc), and "Wish You Well" will be going for adds shortly at all CHR stations(Way FM/Air One,etc) in the U.S. as well. We want to thank you guys in advance for all of your support in calling your local stations to request them. You've all been such a blessing to us both in the past and present and continue to blow us away with your support.

We head out on the Skillet/TFK tour (with my boys Decyfer Down) from March 26th-May 11th. I think it'll be a great tour, it's funny, we've known Skillet for probably 8 years now (we've both been around for 10 +), and have never toured together until now. The collision of rock...haha... it'll be a blast, we're excited to see you out there. The tour dates will be added shortly. We have a blitz of other shows/tv appearances in and around the tour as well, followed by a fury of summer festivals, and a "being put together as we speak" fall tour that I promise will be worth the wait. We are definetly planning a Canadian tour as well(currently looking at Sept.), all hail to the maple leaf!

Love you all, peace and prayers,
tee.
